Tools you'll need

For this recipe, you will use:

1. Voice Memo tool on your Apple or Android device

2. Whisper from OpenAI for transcription

3. Chat GPT to turn the text into an outline, blog post, song, etc.

4. Blogging platform or Google Doc to work on your content

5. Zapier to automate the process

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 0: Set up a Zapier account to create the recipe

• Get the lowest-paid plan to enable multi-step automation

• Set up the email by Zapier task, which will give you a custom email address

Step 1: Record your idea using the Voice Memo tool and send it to Zapier email

• Click the red button on your Voice Memo app to record your idea

• Click the share button and email it to your custom Zapier email address

Step 2: Use Whisper from OpenAI for transcription

• Create an OpenAI account and connect it to Zapier

• Use the GPT-3 plus transcript to transcribe the audio

• Choose attachment so Zapier sends your audio file to OpenAI for transcription

Step 3: Use ChatGPT to create an outline

• Connect ChatGPT to Zapier and choose the conversation option

• Write a prompt for the outline, e.g., "Write a blog outline in HTML based on this transcript"

• Use the content from the transcription as the source

• Give instructions for the output, e.g., "Write as an outline for a blog focused on education and technology"

Step 4: Send the outline to a blogging platform or Google Doc

• Choose where you want to send the outline, e.g., Ghost, Medium, or Google Doc

• Edit the draft and turn it into actionable content
